About Us
GRIT (Guided Research and Inclusion in Technology) is a nationwide organization dedicated to empowering middle school students through hands-on, inclusive STEM education. Our mission is to make STEM fields accessible to young learners of all backgrounds, fostering curiosity, collaboration, and a growth mindset. Each week, students explore a new STEM topic, guided by high school mentors—many of whom are GRIT alumni—who provide relatable insights and support. Through group projects, interactive challenges, and discussions about successes and setbacks, GRIT helps students recognize that every step forward, even through failure, is progress. We aim to build confidence, inspire curiosity, and equip the next generation of inclusive STEM innovators.
